SW Wellness is a complete Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center based in Dickinson, Texas. We provide the following services to companies, individuals, workers and seniors.
FIT FOR DUTY EXAMS FOR BUSINESSES
Individualized testing protocols to determine whether a worker is up to the physical demands of a position. Fitness for duty exams to help discover the employee’s physical capacity for work.
ERGONOMIC JOB SITE ANALYSIS
Identifies high risk job tasks and/or work stations and matches client’s demonstrated safe functional capabilities with job.
DIAGNOSTICS
Such as EMG, Nerve Conduction Velocity, Range of Motion Exams and VNG/ENG Testing's.
BALANCE TESTING FOR INDIVIDUALS
SW Wellness uses the Biodex System SD and BioSway System for its balance assessments. These balance systems along with other techniques and maneuvers help to aid our balance challenged patients.
ACUTE CARE PHYSICAL THERAPY
We provide pain relieving modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, and micro-therapy. SW Wellness also providers procedures such as manual therapy and exercise to deal with acute and chronic pain conditions, generalized weakness and debility.
CHRONIC PAIN MANAGEMENT
Utilizing both psych based programs with the use of TNS and EMS units for pain control/relief to reduce the use of pain medication.

Custom Designed Work Injury Rehabilitation
Helping individuals who have been hurt on the job is one of our specialties. People who have been injured on the job have a unique set of circumstances. Their main focus is to overcome the injury and return to normal work and home life as soon and as safely as possible; often the well-being of the patient’s family depends on that. At SW Wellness Physical Therapy we understand what is involved and we will be your coach in your successful return to work.
Working with your physical therapist you will develop a treatment plan that is custom designed for your condition and circumstances. Goals will be developed that you and your physical therapist will work together to accomplish. Often our physical therapists will include specific exercises and training similar to activities you perform at your job so you will be better prepared for a safe return to work. If necessary we will work with your Doctor and employer to make sure our combined goals are met and you can return to work as soon, and as safely as, possible.
